6) How did you go about implementing Vembu OnlineBackup for your business?
Originally we hosted our Vembu BDR environment on an Amazon EC2 Instance and backed up our clients there. Once Vembu offered the Vembu Cloud with very competitive pricing we switched and have been much happier and don’t have to manage another server.
7) How many machines at how many locations use Vembu OnlineBackup for data backup needs (currently / planned)?
Currently 6 servers and multiple terrabytes of space. We are always growing and Vembu will grow with us.
8) Can you provide some quantifiable metrics on the success of your business related to your use of Vembu OnlineBackup?
Backups were typically done only locally before. They would account for 1 hour per month of time multipled by number of client sites. Vembu now splits that time significally by allowing a view of all successful client backups from the dashboard. About 15 minutes a month is spent dealing with backups which is a cost savings of 95%.

Vembu has significantly helped our business grow by allowing another revenue stream for us. It allows us to offer both backups for our clients as well as reseller accounts for potential service provider who don’t want to get involved with the initial investment.
Vembu also has one of the best support teams for backup I have ever dealt with and support calls are typically handled within 15 minutes (live person will call you) which is spectacular.
