So I don’t know much about cricket but let’s talk about baseball and how Vembu Technologies is hitting the ball out of the park with the new release Vembu BDR v3.0. Baseball is a game where hitting a homerun on the first inning will not win you the game necessarily, but loading your bases and getting your star player to hit it out of the park will sure put you in front. That is what many companies have tried to do with early support of vSphere 6. Starting the game with a good strong play that will make sure to intimidate the competition. So yes “even little guys like… Vembu” (like Abdul Rasheed mentioned on his blog), the ones some may consider the bench warmers will beat Veeam at supporting vSphere 6. The current BDR v3.0 Beta has full support of VMware’s new vSphere v6.0 and vCenter v6.0.
With new technologies there are always early adapters who like to see what’s new and just play with new features. Being able to have a product that stays current and provides the newest support is a huge plus for early adapters who still deserve the peace of mind and security of a reliable backup product. Vembu has tried to stay in the game by supporting the latest technologies out there. Vembu has been on the fore-front of technology with dedicated teams to bring up enterprise backup technologies at an affordable price point.
What is great about products like BDR v3.0 is how they are able to support new technologies alongside the features they bring, for example Virtual Volumes was introduced with the new vSphere 6. Virtual Volumes provides the granularity to assign storage at VM level. This new concept gives IT administrators more granular administration over the VMs they manage.
Don’t let companies like Veeam keep you from having a new and exciting season or limit you from experiencing new things. Take a look at “the little guys” and enjoy the game ahead with full peace of mind that they have you covered. Vembu provides all the support that Veeam provides and much more. Veeam limits their users to virtual backups while Vembu provides open support for virtual and physical environments.
Having said all this, let’s just hope this baseball season is great one.
