Xavier Avrillier, who is a VMware vExpert and the author of vXav.fr blog, has termed Vembu’s consolidated web-based management console as one of the big selling points of the product. “This new version is packed with valued added features that span from traditional on-premise enhancements to Cloud services backup support” , said Avrillier.
Eric Blum, who is the author of ITSMdialy blog, in his blog post highlights the adverse effect of the ongoing pandemic on the work culture of so many IT organizations and how important the Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace backup is. Shedding light on how the BDR Suite has evolved to a feature-rich product, the author opined that BDR Suite can now stand rival to the best enterprise backup products available in the market.
Blum then concluded by sharing his thoughts on the Where-it-left-off feature – “when our internet provider was having network problems this feature would save me a lot of time and also ensure that backups are completed in the backup window you expect to finish.”
Avrillier highlighted features like the Disk Rotation for backup repository, GFS Retention, Instant Boot Live Migration and much more.
Summing up the blog post, Avrillier states – “Putting in place a solid backup strategy is critical, especially in these days of Ransomware attacks popping up all over the place. You want to ensure that your data is safe and that you can recover should anything happen”.
