Backup Copy
Backup Copy is a feature that allows you to create another copy of your primary backup. This secondary copy can be used to restore your data in the event of any disaster and allows you to implement the 3-2-1 backup rule.
BDRSuite offers Backup Copy feature, using which you create a secondary copy of your backup data to a local storage (NAS, SAN, DAS, etc) or store backup copy on Object storage such as Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure Blob, Google Cloud and S3 compatible storage like MinIO/Wasabi/Backblaze, etc.
This helps you perform a DR operation at any point with minimal RTO, whenever a disaster strikes your local primary storage.
Benefits of Backup Copy Feature
Increased Data Protection
With a backup copy feature, businesses can maintain multiple copies of their data in different locations and media. This helps to ensure that data is always available, even if one copy is corrupted or lost due to an unforeseen incident.
Improved Disaster Recovery
By having multiple copies of the same data, businesses can ensure that their data can be recovered and restored quickly in the event of a disaster.
Increased Security
With multiple copies of data stored in different locations, organizations can reduce the risk of data loss due to malicious attacks or natural disasters.
