Vembu is all set to extend its ease of access to Vembu OnlineBackup dashboard for Apple device users. Do you remember the days when you scheduled a backup job to your cloud storage and sat all day with your system until the job was complete? Haven’t you ever thought of making the job of monitoring more user friendly? On-the-go is the path breaking wave that provides a user friendly environment in almost every field.
Monitoring helps you ensure that all goes well in a scheduled task and when the task concerns critical business data, it gets more attention to entire organization. In such cases, continuous monitoring is a prior requirement out of any mundane chore. Taking this into consideration, we came up with iOS mobile application support for Vembu OnlineBackup to help monitor backup jobs.
Vembu already made its support available to a wider audience by introducing android support for Online Backup, now we are happy to extend our applications into iOS App.
The initial iOS App version has the following features:
Dashboard:
A centralized dashboard to have a quick view on backup status, current activities and server’s storage utilization. This consolidated status helps to notice issues that need your immediate attention, if any.
Account Management:
Single pane of Window to list the backed up machines(list of backups scheduled, storage size occupied on the whole and details of individual backups ) along with start and end time of a backup job.
Events:
Events helps you get instant notifications on-the-go for backup failures, missed backups and interrupted backup jobs. The configuration is available for different modules which includes backup and restore process for Image backup, Exchange plugin, SQL plugin along with Storage and network configuration.
Settings:
Helps to customize, filter backup report by time duration and also helps to add and manage multiple servers/accounts via single iOS App device.
Support:
You can also instantly connect with Vembu support with a single click option.
