Introduction

Usually when you create files in your Microsoft Teams account, those files will reside on your online SharePoint site. If you create any Word, Excel or PowerPoint files, each file will be addressed in a unique URL and the same will be opened in different devices using your unique credential. Similarly, you can share the files with your coworkers and the same link can be accessed after giving the share permission to the users.

Using this method, one can collaboratively work on any of his Team files. But there are a few circumstances where you may not have a good internet connection in which you need to modify the files only locally, or you may require a copy of your important documents. In this case, you may require your files to be downloaded locally on your computer to work on them and you may require a safe place to store them and access them later. Further your modified changes need to be updated in your SharePoint original location. So, you may require a two-way sync from the SharePoint site to the local computer and vice versa. Combining these two useful operations one can enable sync process for your Sharepoint files to your OneDrive account. From OneDrive, users can download their files for local modification and further one can sync files to OneDrive and so to his SharePoint file location.
