Following are steps to Restore hyper-v virtual machine by Instant Boot
Step 1 : Enter into the Vembu BDR server console and navigate to the client management and initiate the Instant Boot by clicking the ‘IB’ ’icon.
Step 2 : Once you had clicked the icon goes to the other menu you have a list of backup list. Choose the latest update of your backup (Once start the Backup from Vembu VMBackup, it will perform Agentless and automatic pure incremental follow) & click next to processed.
Step 3 : After selected the latest update, Then Chosen the required Hyper-V VM to initiate the Instant boot to startup VM in Hyper-V Manager.
Step 4 : Set the configuration of hypervisor in the Vembu BDR Server itself and proceed the next button and start the hyper-V virtual machine.
Step 5 : Review given configuration for instant boot (Timestamp, VM name) and proceed to initiate instant boot. This will mount VHD in Hyper-V server and auto start Hyper-V VM in Hyper-V server on same machine.
Step 6 : Finally, The restoration process of Hyper-V VM is automatically added in the Hyper-V Manager and started running.
