CONFIGURING THE MAIL SERVER FOR SALES MAILS

We allow our customers to configure a mail server separately for salesdesk , to which the mails from their sales email-Id can be forwarded. The sales agents can use this mail server or they can add additional email Ids to send emails from Vembu SalesDesk. In the settings page under email configurations, the customers can set up a primary mail server under the Sales Mail Server. Under Sales Email Configuration, we can add any number of Email IDs which can be used as to addresses when the customer tries to send emails from this feature.

What happens after the mails are received make this feature more interesting.

  • Having received the emails ,they can be assigned to any agent and the agent can handle it .
  • The agent’s replies to the customer are noted and all the activities related to the corresponding sales mails are tracked and listed as well, which can be viewed by all the users of the particular organization having access to our product .
  • When a sales mail is newly arrived, Its status becomes new. After that as the mails are processed,they travel through the stages – open, pending and finally they are resolved or closed by the agent to whom the sales mails are assigned.
