Following are steps to Restore Hyper-V Virtual Machine by Live Restore
Step 1 : Enter into the Vembu BDR server console and navigate to the client management and initiate the Live Restore by clicking the ‘LR’ ’icon.
Step 2 : Once you had clicked the icon goes to the other menu and select your required backup timestamp. Choose the latest timestamp of your backup & click next to proceed.
Step 3 : After selecting the latest timestamp, then select the required Hyper-V VMs and choose the download format such as (VHD, VHDX) to initiate the Live Restore.
Step 4 : Once selecting VM and download format, then proceed to configure target host UNC path with host machine credential and also allocate the RAM size.
Step 5 : Review given configuration for Live Restore (Timestamp, VM name, Location) and proceed to initiate Live Restore by clicking ‘live restore now’ button.
Step 6 : Finally the restore process is shown in the console and selected VM will be restored in given location in requested format.
