MS Ignite 2019 is underway and it’s bigger and more exciting than ever!
Being a part of such events helps us gain direct insight into industry trends and practices when it comes to technology. These events also provide a great platform for vendors like us to showcase our products, thereby gaining exposure and a direct opportunity to interact with our customers. And this year’s event is even better with our participation in different sessions and huge interest from enthusiasts in our product.

Day 2 & 3 Highlights:
We had a great response, with people looking for a single solution to meet their diverse data protection needs.
Data protection is no longer a luxury, it has become a necessity now with the scale of attacks and other threats to data. Being a backup & DR solution provider, we had many people showing interest in our product, wanting to know how it could work in their setup.
Here is a look at how our product, Vembu BDR Suite, can address diverse IT needs:
Vembu BDR Suite supports VMware Backup and Replication, Host-level Hyper-V Backup, Disk-Image Backup for physical Windows Servers, Workstations, and cloud workloads. Our offerings also include cloud-to-cloud backup solutions to protect user data hosted in Office 365 & G-Suite.
With our single, comprehensive solution, users can protect their diverse environment, thus eliminating the need to deploy multiple products.
Being a Microsoft event, people also took an interest in our backup support for the virtualization platform Hyper-V, specifically Cluster support. With Vembu, users can protect their VMs residing on clusters and easily move VMs between cluster hosts without impacting backups.
Our next release featuring an on-premise solution for Office 365 also got a huge response and people were interested to know more about the features and deployment methods.
With SMBs looking for an affordable solution, our Free Edition, and BDR Essentials gained much interest among the audience.
With Vembu BDR Suite – Free edition, users can protect Unlimited VMs, physical servers, and workstations at free of cost. It provides full-featured backup support for up to 10 VMs and basic features for the rest.
The Essentials package offers enterprise-level features that help SMBs to protect their virtual environment (VMware & Hyper-V – Having up to 10 CPU sockets or 100 VMs) without spending extravagantly.
