The question that has been prime in our customers’ minds since the very first unveiling of the BDR has been – when and how can we get our backup data replicated to cloud more swiftly and cost efficiently?
We listened and offer the Vembu BDR v2.1.1 as the solution. Vembu customers can now have their initial full backup data on backup server, shipped to cloud DR easily. You can also manage cloud backup schedules with the backup window scheduling feature. This feature makes it possible to schedule when and when not to get your cloud connected.

Download VMDK in direct ESXi bootable format:
Since its early days, Vembu BDR supports downloading VHD and VMDK files, where thin VMDK file formats are available for download. This can be directly used on vmplayers. With v2.1.1 however, Vembu BDR supports downloading flat VMDK files. These files can be directly loaded on ESXi servers and instantly booted as VM machines.
