How does Vembu Note increase productivity?
Remember the days when you were in need of a ubiquitous product that could assist you in managing your keynote requirements? It might have been a note you made or website information you were in need of for reference. Vembu Note comes as a solution to fill those requisites. With a simplified UI and easy to manage options, Vembu Note lightens your workload and increases productivity by organizing important details.
Below are some chief features to help you fully appreciate and understand the advantages of Vembu Note:
Notes:
Notes can come in handy anytime you are working on a blog or an article which needs to be reviewed for future reference. All you need is a browser to access Vembu Note and you will be able to:
- Create, modify and delete notes made as needed.
- Integrate with a rich text editor – Notes provide options to select font types, styles and sizes along with formatting options.
- Create tables.
- Insert hyperlinks, images and videos.
- Add articles of interest to your note.
Bookmarks:
Ever come across an unrelated yet interesting article, video, audio or picture in the middle of your research that you would like to save for review later when you have more free time? With Bookmarks you can:
- Add the website address of the article/video/audio/image you are interested in as a new bookmark.
- Edit, modify and delete the bookmark based on your needs.
- Personalize the description of each bookmark to help you remember the content’s core idea.
Favorites:
You may have a large number of complete and incomplete notes in your bucket but currently working only on a particular note. Adding it to favorites, allows you to prioritize your interest, pull up the information easily without having to scroll through a big list of notes. Just be aware that unlike the delete option in Notes/Bookmarks, you cannot delete a note or bookmark under favorites tag however, you can un-favorite them, if needed.
Tags:
Let us say you have a set of related articles, notes and a few bookmarks that you want to locate easily. Using Tags keeps your content organized, makes it a cinch to navigate and saves time in the process.
To give you an example, you may have a note on Wall Street that contains information related to share market denominations and the US economy. You also have a bookmarked pie chart which displays trading ranges of mobile companies worldwide for 2014 and another article bookmarked under the title “fall and rise of the US economy before/after Mr.X”.
In the above case, you could have three tags:
- Share Market: which would contain the note on Wall Street and bookmarked pie chart.
- Politics: could have the bookmarked article – “fall and rise of US economy before/after Mr.X”
- US economy: note on Wall Street and the bookmarked article – “fall and rise of US economy before/after Mr.X”.
In addition to all of the above, Vembu Note gives you the option of sharing notes and bookmarks as a link, via email or as both. You can search through the contents of Notes and bookmarks in seconds. Vembu Note is bundled with the powerful solr search server, which is used by googlers.
Apart from these, we are also working on additional features which include: personal notebooks, reminder, sharing via social sites etc., and hope to offer them in our upcoming releases.
