An action packed week here at Vembu. Here is a brief account of what we have been up to.
The Vembu BDR 3.0 saw its first official beta release on 13th April. It seems to have hit all the right spots judging from the positive reviews from users.
Just to recap weekly, the chief features of this new version include:
- VMware VM Power Replication.
- Direct restore to Remote Hyper-V.
- Hyper-V VM Power Replication.
- Bulk deployment.
- Forward incremental (Synthetic full backup) support.
- Support for vSphere 6.0.
- Completely new and upgraded interface.
In other news, we have scheduled a webinar on version 3.0 to be followed with a competitive analysis by Dr. Jack Fegreus, Founder and Managing Director of openBench Labs with comparable products in market.
