- Download Vembu Offsite DR Server
- Download Vembu Recovery CD for BMR
You need to install the Vembu BDR Client for File Servers/Endpoints/Applications on every machine from which you want to backup Files/Folders, Microsoft Applications such as Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Outlook, and My SQL.
Vembu BDR Client for File Servers/Endpoints/Applications is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS as separate installers.

Note for the Vembu BDR Backup Server installed on Windows Machine:
- If you have Vembu BDR Backup Server installed on a Windows machine, you can directly configure and manage the image-level backup of Windows Servers & Workstations from the Vembu BDR Backup Server user interface without having to install Vembu BDR Client for Windows Disk-Image on each Windows machine
- Vembu BDR Client for Windows Disk-Image is required if you are unable to add a Windows Server or Workstation from the Vembu BDR Backup Server user interface due to network restriction or environment-specific problems
Note for the Vembu BDR Backup Server installed on Linux Ubuntu Machine:
- If you have installed Vembu BDR Backup Server on the Ubuntu machine, Vembu BDR Client for Windows Disk-Image should be installed on each Windows Server & Workstation to backup them at the image level
- Vembu BDR Client for Windows Disk-Image comes with an independent user interface to configure and manage the backup activities alone. You should, therefore, login to the Vembu BDR Backup Server user interface to perform the recovery

Note for the Vembu BDR Backup Server installed on Windows Machine:
- If Vembu BDR Backup Server has been installed on the Windows machine, the agentless image backup and replication for VMware VMs and agentless backup for Hyper-V VMs can be configured directly from the Vembu BDR Backup Server user interface without the need to install Vembu BDR Client for VMware/Hyper-V on each host
- Vembu BDR Client for VMware/Hyper-V is needed if you are unable to add VMware or Hyper-V hosts from the Vembu BDR Backup Server user interface due to network restriction or environment-specific problems
Note for the Vembu BDR Backup Server installed on Linux Ubuntu Machine:
- Backup and Replication for VMware VMs can be configured and managed through the Vembu BDR Backup Server user interface
- But, if you would like to backup Hyper-V VMs, you should install Vembu BDR Client for VMware/Hyper-V on each Hyper-V host to backup them at VM level
- Vembu BDR Client for VMware/Hyper-V comes with an independent user interface to configure and manage the backup activities alone. You should, therefore, login to the Vembu BDR Backup Server user interface to perform the recovery
