General Guidelines for restore process
- Don't enter the same VM name that is already created in the host.
- Enable Hyper-V role in the backup server.
- Don't assign a higher physical memory (RAM) than the free memory currently available in your server. The Recovery may fail.
- Vembu supports File Level Restore only for NTFS File System.
- Once done with the requirement, unmount the backup data.
- Before enabling NFS service in Vembu Virtual Drive, we recommend you to make sure Microsoft or other third-party NFS services are disabled for uninterrupted service.
- Only [a-z][A-Z][0-9][ - _ ] characters are allowed in the VM name to be created.
- The password you enter should satisfy a few conditions.
- Close the restore progress window and open it occasionally to check the restore progress for enhanced the restore performance.
