• Native Tape Backup support

Vembu offers Native Tape Backup support for Image-based Backups. With Vembu’s Tape backup support, organizations will now be able to backup their data to tape for long term archival purposes while providing secure and reliable access to the stored data.

• Cross-Platform Migration for VMware, Hyper-V, and Windows Server

Since VMware, Hyper-V, and Physical Windows Disk Image backups are stored at block level in a neutral format, Vembu BDR Suite makes it possible to perform V2V/V2P/P2V migration by restoring the backed up machine in any virtual disk format such as VHD, VHDX, VMDK, VMDK-FLAT or IMG.

• Automatic Backup Verification

The Image Integrity check verifies the backup process in Vembu BDR periodically and confirms if the backup data is mountable and provides a boot image of the most recent backup. This ensures that the backup is in a readily-bootable state. This can be found in the Reports tab under Image Integrity option in Vembu BDR backup server.

• End-to-End encryption

Vembu offers built-in AES 256 bit Encryption algorithm for all type of backup plugins, giving you the utmost protection of your backup in flight and at rest. This securely protects your data from hackers, intruders, and is a critical component of security.

• Bare Metal Recovery
