Download BDR Clients
BDR Client for VMware/Hyper-V/Windows is an optional component and is required only if the data sources you want to backup are in a network not accessible by the BDR Backup Server. For such cases, 'BDR Client for VMware/Hyper-V/Windows' can be installed in the same network where the data sources are and the backups configured from the BDR Client UI.
If the data sources are accessible directly from BDR Backup Server then BDR Client is not required nor recommended.
