License Renewal

In the License Management tab, under the Number of Licenses Assigned column alongside the license name when expanded to show the details it will list the renewal details in the status section.

There are two options to renew the licenses:

  1.  Automatic Renewal of License
  2. Manual Renewal of License

While applying for a license if you choose to go with the action of Automatic License Renewal then the toggle switch will be enabled, and automatically after the subscription period ends the concerned license will be renewed using the added Credit Card or the Portal Credits.

Information Note: 

  • For the auto-renewal process, any applicable unassigned license(s) will be assigned directly. If an applicable unassigned license is not available then the required license will be purchased either using portal credits or credit card on file.
  • If the automatic renewal process is not successful then the associated backups will fail.
  • Please make sure you either have enough portal credits or a valid credit card in file.
  • Toggling the button again will disable the automatic renewal process and will allow you to manually renew your licenses, by clicking on the Renew icon 

Information Note: 

  • Before the license expiration date, an alert mail will be sent to the registered mail-ID asking to renew the license. 
  • If the applied license has already expired, you cannot renew that license.
  • Once enabled, the ‘Auto renewal’ option while assigning license, the ‘Renewal’ icon will be hidden.
  • Clicking the ‘Renewal’ icon without having a subscription license will show you an error message “not enough license units available”.
