Editions

BDRSuite Backup Server offers a range of editions to cater to diverse needs. Select the edition that aligns with your specific business requirements and budgetary considerations. In the BDRSuite Backup Server navigate to "Backup Server" and then click on "Management" followed by "Editions."

The supported editions are as follows;

Enterprise Edition
Enterprise Essentials
Standard Edition
Standard Essentials
Free Edition

The BDRSuite Backup Server by default will operate in Enterprise Edition. During the trial period, you can switch between Standard and Enterprise Editions.

You cannot revert back to the previous edition if you switch to Free Edition during the trial period. So, we recommend you switch to Free Edition after completing the entire trial period. If you want to experience the Free Edition functionalities, you can switch to Free Edition at any time during the trial.

If you want to re-evaluate the Enterprise or Standard Edition, you need to uninstall and reinstall the Free Edition BDRSuite Backup Server.

There is no variation in features between Standard and Enterprise Editions for all products other than VMware and Hyper-V backup modules. Additionally, across all Editions, Windows Workstation backup is supported with a Free Licence.

To apply the changes, select the edition you want to switch to and click the 'Change Edition' button.
