Disaster Recovery

When there is a requirement for reinstalling Vembu NetworkBackup afresh in a client machine where you lose all configured backup jobs, in such cases, Disaster Recovery option comes as a savior and lets you restore client configuration from backup servers.

(i.e): In scenarios, where client data is relocated to another machine, where resuming backup jobs will be required.

Note: If the backup job is password protected, then you should provide an appropriate password by editing the backup job before resuming it.

Choose servers

• You can choose the servers from the list of added servers or provide a server IP (Make sure it's functioning perfectly via test connectivity).

• When you are done configuring the Client Configurations, choose the Restore Backups option.

• Once the restore completes successfully, you will be redirected to reports page with the report for successful restore completion.

Note: By default, recovered backups will be in the suspended state and can be resumed later.
