MySQL Server Backup Schedule

This section contains information that are needed to edit a configured MySQL Server Backup schedule in Vembu NetworkBackup.

How to get here in the Vembu NetworkBackup Web Console?

From the Vembu NetworkBackup client, select Backup tab and click List Jobs. From the list of backup schedules, click the Edit icon in the edit column of the MySQL Server backup schedule that you want to edit.

Note: Only some of the configuration options are editable.

The following options are editable:

• Add or Remove MySQL database[s] from an existing backup schedule. Based on the recovery model, the database(s) can be selected.
• Full Backup Scheduling settings.
• Retention Policies for Backed up Files
• Additional Full Backup
• Advanced Options - Turn off or on 'Run this backup each time Vembu NetworkBackup restarts' option.

Note: You cannot edit 'Intelli-Delta Backup' option.

• Run additional full backup after saving this configuration: When this option is selected, Vembu NetworkBackup will schedule an additional full backup for the MySQL Server configured in this schedule. The additional full backup will run immediately after saving the configuration provided no other backup is running in this client machine.

The following options are not configurable options:

• MySQL Database Name
• Backup Server(s)
• Intelli-Delta Backup option
• Encryption (and password)
• Backup Name
