Hyper-V VM Replication
BDRSuite supports VM replication for Hyper-V virtual machines which is one of the cost-effective and reliable ways to protect your critical VMs.
BDRSuite allows you to replicate VMs from a primary site to a secondary site, ensuring that all your data and applications are available in the event of a disaster or downtime. Once the virtual machines are replicated, BDRSuite monitors the primary site for changes and automatically replicates any updates to the secondary site. This ensures that the secondary site is always up-to-date and ready for use in the event of a disaster.
Key Benefits & Features
Agentless & Application-aware Replication
BDRSuite offers agentless VM replication and supports application-aware processing while replicating VMs to ensure consistency of applications running inside the virtual machines.
Replicate Every 15 mins
BDRSuite allows you to replicate the changes on the VM in primary site to replica VM on different site as often as every 15 mins or hourly/daily/weekly.
Increased availability
By replicating VMs to a secondary site, organizations can minimize downtime and ensure that their critical applications and data are always available, even in the event of a disaster.
Failover
In the event of a disaster, you can immediately start the replica VM using the Failover option.
File Level Recovery
You can granularly restore the individual files/folders from the replicated VMs.
How it works
VM Replication ensures that the VMs are available and accessible with minimal downtime. Hyper-V VM Replication with BDRSuite works by replicating VMs from a primary site to a secondary site.
- Select the VMs to be replicated and choose the target host in the same or different site where the VMs should be replicated.
- Select the frequency to replicate the VM data. BDRSuite allows you to schedule replication as often as every 15mins.
- The VMs at the secondary site can be started using the Failover option and used in the event of a disaster or downtime at the primary site.
