VM Replication with Flexible Scheduling
BDRSuite offers a powerful solution with its VM replication feature, which provides near continuous data replication between source and target hosts. This helps you ensure that your VMs are always available, even in the event of a disaster or outage.
Benefits of our flexible scheduling options
Time-based replication
You can schedule your replication process to occur at specific times, giving you more control over when the process takes place.
Customizable frequency
You can choose how often you want to replicate your VMs, from every 15 minutes to daily or weekly. This allows you to balance the need for real time data replication with other critical tasks or maintenance windows.
How VM Replication Flexible Scheduling works with BDRSuite
The Schedule option defines the frequency of your VMware replication job. You can configure the replication schedules by choosing between Run Every/Run Daily/Run Weekly options.
Every Few Hours/Minutes
Select Run Every option if you want to run your VMware replication at regular intervals on a specific day(s). The time frame ranges from 15 minutes to 12 hours a day on specific days a week. By default, all the days in the week will be selected. If you don’t want to run your replication on all the days, then manually select the days in which you want to run the replication.
Daily
You can specify the days and number of times the replication should run on a daily basis in the daily option. You can schedule replication to run up to 5 times per day, and you must specify the time for each replication.
Weekly
In the weekly option, you must specify the day and time when you want the replication to run. You can only run one replication per day in the week.
