Concurrent Backups
Concurrent backup is a type of backup strategy in which multiple backups can be run at the same time. Concurrent backups can be used in a variety of situations, such as when backing up a large amount of data or when multiple servers must be backed up at the same time. This approach allows a user to quickly and efficiently backup data without the need to wait for one backup to finish before starting another.
BDRSuite provides you the ability to run multiple backup tasks concurrently on your Backup server and optimally utilize your system resources. You have the privilege to set upto 999 backup tasks to run concurrently. You can also limit the maximum number of concurrent tasks that’s allowed to run per backup job. This type of granular control would definitely help you plan for your system resource utilization efficiently.
