Beginning the restore process

When you trigger the Quick VM restore process, the Vembu BDR backup server will perform the steps that are mentioned below -

• The vCenter Server/ESXi host will be checked for connectivity.
• The backup data will be mounted in the Vembu Virtual Drive. The backup data will be shared with the NFS datastore.
• Once you register the VM and power it on, the data transfer begins instantly. The data transfer takes place from the Vembu Virtual Drive.

We Recommend using an ESXi host that is fast.
