Step 1: Download the Vembu Client for File & Application Backup Installer for Mac from here - Download Installer
Step 2: The downloaded file will be in zip format VembuNetworkBackup_IMac_Client_Only.zip.

Step 4: Installation will begin, click next on the Welcome window.
Step 5: Read and agree to the Vembu Software license agreement and click Next.
Step 6: Choose installation option based on its nature, if it's a fresh installation proceed with 'Fresh Install' option and if you are upgrading an already existing setup click on 'Upgrade'.
Let's proceed with the Fresh Install option (Assuming we're installing in a fresh machine).
Step 7: The installation wizard will ask to enter the Vembu NetworkBackup ID. By default, it will be your system name but it is recommended that you give your email ID, since it is globally unique. After entering the Vembu NetworkBackup ID click Next.
Step 8: Choose the installation option you want to proceed with; Opting for Typical will automatically choose an optimized configuration for your installation, whereas proceeding with Custom allows you to customize the configuration for installation. Click on Next when done.
Step 9: Proceeding with custom installation will allow you to provide the login credentials for web console access which by default has the username and password as 'admin'. Users can also modify webserver port, but it is recommended to leave with the default values unless the port is already assigned for some other process.
Step 10: Proceed to review chosen settings and proceed with installation once done reviewing.
Step 11: Once the installation completes, you will be asked to choose how to run VembuNetworkBackup, i.e. either run as a Service or as an Application; we recommend you run the installation as a service.
Step 12: Choosing run as a service will auto-start VembuNetworkBackup to run as a service.
