How it works

Follow the below hierarchy to upgrade existing Vembu BDR Suite:

Step 1: Upgrade your Vembu OffsiteDR setup

Step 2: Upgrade your Vembu BDR setup and

Step 3: Upgrade your Backup Proxy(Vembu VMBackup, Vembu ImageBackup, Vembu NetworkBackup, and Vembu OnlineBackup)

Information Note:

  • Both Vembu OffsiteDR and Vembu BDR should be upgraded manually in the respective order.
  • Vembu Proxy Agents can be automatically upgraded via Vembu BDR Server, once BDR Server gets upgraded. Also note, backup agents can also be upgraded manually if required.
