Client Side Backup Configuration

Seed backup process involves 3 major processes involved:

• While configuring backups
• Seed Backup migration- server side and
• Seed Backup migration- client side

Configuring Backups:

In Vembu NetworkBackup, seed backup option will be provided in the configure scheduling phase of every plugin backup and file backup.

• Choose Seed Backup option, in Add Backup Server tab while configuring backups.
• Choose any local/mapped drive location as seed backup location. This is the location to which the initial seed will happen.

• Proceed with scheduling backup jobs as per the manual and make sure it completes successfully.
