Seed Backup Migration

What is Seed Backup Migration?

Seed Backup Migration is one among the key features of Vembu BDR Suite through which you can move large amount of backup data from the client machine to your backup server very quickly.

How it works ?

Initially, the Seed Backup is taken in an external medium (USB, hard disk etc) from the client machine. From here, the medium can be connected to the backup server environment and migrate the data from the external medium into your backup server. When the migration is over, perform the backup from the server and client side by following the steps explained in the following pages so that the increments can run directly from the client machine to the backup Server.

Advantages:

• This will be helpful for users with low bandwidth network and large backup size.
• At most times, reduce bandwidth and time consumed.
